Question
With a concern for "slipping", is there is a commercial product that we can purchase that will not interfere with the electrical properties of the floor finish? - Anonymous, Boston, MA
Answer
Our Statproof® finish is "classified as slip resistance" by UL. ESD finishes can get slippery if humidity increases very fast over a short period of time. Our ESD finish is the least effected by this but if humidity gets high enough all surfaces gets wet. Note: There is an old trick of mixing sand in a finish to make it non skid like in an entrance way were it may get wet from snow/rain outside being tracked in. Remember when floor surfaces are wet they are slippery.
